Through unparalleled coaching, training and preparation, Empire athletes will succeed in and out of the water by continually challenging themselves to achieve personal bests, take it to the next level, and achieve their goals. Our philosophy is "if you work hard, good things will happen."
Empire Swimming is a competitive swim club and member of USA Swimming and the Metropolitan Swimming Local Swim Committee (LSC). Empire was formed to serve competitive swimmers ages six and up in the Metropolitan Tri-State area. Empire has a current roster of approximately 380 swimmers between the ages of 6 and collegiate.
Empire utilizes three training facilities, all within a manageable commute from most locations in the Tri-State area. Our swimmers in our developmental group (ages 6-8), and our age group (ages 9-12) have the option of training at either the Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, the Hackley School in Tarrytown, NY, or Purchase College in Purchase, NY. Our Xcel senior group (12 and over) trains out of the Hackley School in Tarrytown, and our elite Xtreme senior group (13 and over) makes its home at Ardsley Middle School in Ardsley, NY.
Our coaching staff is led by Head Coach Ilan Noach (ASCA Level V) and Assistant Head Coach Brian Hansbury, and supported by Claire O'Reilly, Kelly Johanson, Lara Holzman, Tony Mugno, Cheryl Blenk, Rachel Noach, Harrison McDonald, Maureen O'Sullivan, and Izzy Jones.
