Empire Swimming is a year-round competitive swim program formed to serve competitive swimmers ages six and up in the Metropolitan Tri-State area and is a member club of USA Swimming (link) and the Metropolitan Swimming (link) Local Swim Committee (LSC). Empire’s philosophy is one of progression. Through unparalleled coaching, training and preparation, Empire athletes succeed by continually challenging themselves to achieve personal bests to get to the “next level” in their swimming career and to achieve goals both in and out of the water. Our belief is "if you work hard, good things will happen."
In the USA Swimming Virtual Club Championships, which ranks the top 7,000 swim teams, Empire Swimming is currently ranked top 35 in the country. We are ranked in the top 10 in the Eastern Zone, which covers Maine to Virginia.
Our coaching staff has over fifty years of combined coaching experience, led by Ilan Noach (ASCA Level V), Kevin Stone (ASCA Level III), Brian McClintock (ASCA Level II), Michael Ruggiero, Sean Raffile, Inga DeNunzio, Craig McClintock, Sarah Staropoli, Noreen Haggerty, and Jason McLaughlin.
